Research Workshops

The R&D Centre at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology in conjunction with Tapadia Diagnostic Centre Pvt. Ltd and Department of Microbiology, KMICS, Hyderabad began a training workshop on Digital Pathology Annotations for Breast Cancer. The first session was held on 15 December 2020 at KMIT and was lead by Dr Rohit Tapadia (MBBS, MD, Onco Pathologist), Director of Tapadia Diagnostics Centre. This workshop was conducted as a part of the ongoing BIRAC project in R&D centre.

Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology is pleased to announce that they have opened Udaan, a new R&D Centre, in addition to Uttkarsh, the existing R&D centre. Both the centres are equipped with state-of-art machines, 24*7 powerful backup, air-conditioned and are WiFi enabled. As opposed to a standard inauguration, KMIT’s R&D department in conjunction with nVIDIA Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Teleparadigm Networks Ltd, Hyderabad opted to host the AI and CUDA Programming for Defence Applications training for Defence Scientists, a project approved by Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL) on 4 January 2021.

A series of webinars was conducted over a course of two days by Dr Devika Rubi and Dr Rajasekaran. The objective of the sessions was to introduce faculty members and students to Biomedical Imaging and the area of research contained within it. The webinar was conducted on 16th and 17th of June, 2020.
