The institute boasts 18 world class spacious computer labs for Information Technology department having H.P. and Dell Computer systems along with the latest software. Our computer labs have hi-speed internet connectivity, a powerful 24*7 backup and are air conditioned. The labs function from 8.30 am to 6.00 p.m.

C++ Lab: This lab introduces students to C++ programming language, a dominant language in the industry today. Students will be taught the fundamentals of programming. These concepts are applicable to programming in any language

Computer Networks and Web programming Lab: : The main purpose of the lab is to learn basic concepts of computer networking and acquire practical notions of protocols with the emphasis on TCP/IP. The lab provides a practical approach to Ethernet/Internet networking: networks are assembled, and experiments are made to understand the layered architecture and how do some important protocols work and helps to to analyze the traffic flow and the contents of protocol frames.

Design and Analysis of Algorithms Lab: This course aims to introduce the classic algorithms in various domains, and techniques for designing efficient algorithms.

Android Application Development Lab: This Course aims to demonstrate the fundamentals of Android operating systems and Android software development tools.

Cryptography and Network Security Lab: This Course focuses towards the introduction of network security using various cryptographic algorithms. Underlying network security applications. It also focuses on the practical applications that have been implemented and are in use to provide email and web security.

Data Mining Lab: The main objective of this lab is to impart the knowledge on how to implement classical models and algorithms in data warehousing and data mining and to characterize the kinds of patterns that can be discovered by association rule mining, classification and clustering.

Internet of Things Lab: Focus on research – design and development of IOT enabled technologies which are cost effective and socially relevant. To develop trained manpower (through student projects/research) in the field of IOT based application development.

Data Structures Lab: The main purpose is to study fundamental data structures, their design, implementation, efficiency and in solving problems.

Oops Through Java Lab: The purpose of this lab is to understand fundamentals of object-oriented programming in Java, including defining classes, invoking methods, using class libraries, etc.

Operating Systems Lab: This lab will introduce the basic principles in Operating System and providing error detection methods. It will cover all the management modules present in the OS like process management, Memory management, File management, Disk management, Network management, I/O management.

Database and Management systems Lab: The major objective of this lab is to provide a strong formal foundation in database concepts, technology and practice to the participants to groom them into well-informed database application developers.

Software Engineering Lab: It will enable us to learn the Rational Rose tool employed in the software development life cycle, which makes the process of requirement modeling easy to understand and implement requirements. Rational Rose is the tool which will be used for the requirement modeling.

Computer Programming Lab: Computer Programming laboratory is designed to familiarize students with the basic components of programming, so as to be able to initiate the students into the discipline of Programming. Students will develop the ability to design, develop, test and document structured programs in C language.

Python Programming Lab: This lab is all about the programming language Python. In this lab, you are going to try out some new ideas in this new programming language.

IT Workshop and Microprocessor Lab: The objective of this lab is to develop an ability to design and implement static and dynamic website. This course teaches about Hardware, Internet & World Wide Web and Productivity tools including Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher. Microprocessor Lab helps to implement assembly language programs and 8086 architecture using MASAM.

Research Commons Lab: This lab is a multi-purpose technology and collaborative workspace located at the north end of the Research Commons on the second floor. The lab is dedicated to meeting the teaching, learning and research needs of the faculty, staff and students. Additionally, the Research Commons is equipped with 13 PCs, 3 scanners, two iMacs, two high-end workstations, plus black-and-white and color printing services. Other services include library and research support managed and supported by KMIT Tech Staff.
