Since Navaratri was just around the corner, it’s time to pull out that traditional colourful ghaghra-choli from the closet and brush up those dandiya and garba moves. Navaratri marks nine nights of unlimited dancing, feasting & fun and the students of KMIT looked very much ready for the most looked forward event in the life of a KMIT student when one can dance their hearts out to the sweet garba songs and the groovy bollywood numbers.
The campus also was very well dressed to host the night as groups of students gathered and shared their signature dandiya moves with their friends.
The dancers grooved to many Bollywood and tollywood numbers and set the dance floor on fire.
The students left no stone unturned to enjoy the true spirit of Navratri.
The campus looked stunning as the night fell and the the lights started to work their magic.
While some guys played safe with the fusion wear, others went all out with their beautiful traditional outfits.
The girls didn’t disappoint us either. Dressed up in various kinds of elaborately designed lehengas and cholis, they added to the ambience of the venue.
And while some settled for traditional dandiya moves, others tried out a little bit of folk and bollywood.
Regardless of whether they are students or staff, everybody danced their hearts out that evening and the DJ could get everyone grooving to some amazing music.
