This is the 21st century and India has to change itself in this rapidly evolving world to perform the same effective role."

The government is focusing on the quality of education and building an ecosystem for innovation, design, research, development, and enterprise, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. He also said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can play a big role in making technology effective, interactive, and people-friendly.

The Workshop on Changing Face of Cyber Security is conducted  on sucessfully 24.02.2020 in Mini Auditorium KMIT.

On 13th February, SAMPARK- a venture by Verizon and KMIT to bridge the gap between industry and academia was held in our college. It was an interactive panel discussion which included members from the faculty of our college, students and also experts from Verizon. The program gave us an opportunity to get an insight of the importance of newer concepts of technology like 5G, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, etc. We thank the management, faculty members, student panel and Verizon team to have taken this initiative to enlighten us with such knowledge and information.
The anchors were from Students' Council's Vachan- The Speaker's Club for hosting the event.

On 27th Jan 2020 Vachan- The Speakers' Club conducted its first V-Charcha today with a total of 75 Vachanites (trainees) and 6 Vachanaires (trainers). The session was filled with enthusiasm. 5 principles of Public Speaking namely- body language, eye contact, voice modulation, fluency in language and content were discussed. This was followed by an introductory activity. The response from and energy in first years was sky high!

Today KMIT organizing a YOGA session at 4:00 to 5:00 pm in  KMIT auditorium.

A yoga workshop was conducted on 25^th January, 2020 in KMIT by experts from YogaTattva Institute, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. The workshop was conducted in the mini-auditorium from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. The whole place was filled with students on colorful mats, indulging in the yoga asana taught by the instructors.

We were taught the importance and significance of Yoga in our daily life, and how practicing it even for 30 min a day can really help us lead a happy, healthy and stress-free life. There were around 80 students and teachers who gathered for this workshop and the response received was overwhelming.

Do you think we're all born with dreams? No, we're not. We weave our dreams as we make a place in this world and then work hard to achieve them.
The world witnessed one such dream turn into reality, when our very own student, Meeta Kapoor, who made her place in the Indian Roller Hockey team, not just by wishing, but by working towards her goal.
Meeta was initially a Roller Skater, who eventually found her passion in Roller Hockey. She grabbed the first opportunity she got to play for the Telangana state team, and has never looked back since.
Today, she finds herself as the goalkeeper for the Indian Roller Hockey team and has her journey to share with us all.

MIT has partnered with IIT Bombay, and has held a 2 day Machine Learning workshop, followed by a competition on the 6th and 7th of September, 2019.

The winners of the competition will be sent to the Zonal round, where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the national round with a prize pool of over 1 lakh.
It was a wonderful opportunity for all our students.

MIT has partnered with IIT Bombay, and has held a 2 day Machine Learning workshop

MIT has partnered with IIT Bombay, and has held a 2 day Machine Learning workshop, followed by a competition on the 6th and 7th of September, 2019.

The winners of the competition will be sent to the Zonal round, where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the national round with a prize pool of over 1 lakh.
It was a wonderful opportunity for all our students.

KMIT Members and Alumni of  kMITRA along with a few volunteers visited the Vivek Vardhini Kanyashala Girls High School. On 31st of August,

KMIT organized a fundraiser for a month to build a better future for the students, on the 31st of August, members and alumni of kMITRA along with a few volunteers visited the Vivek Vardhini Kanyashala Girls High School. The term ‘visit’ must have been just too small to express their happiness and contentment. As the team entered their mini world, the students and the staff welcomed us wholeheartedly. The team had prepared an hour-wise schedule starting from 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. that included fun educational and outdoor games which the children participated in with much enthusiasm. It felt wonderful to see a plethora of talents in these young kids. Congratulations to the kMITRA team, to have taken this noble initiative. You have made us proud.

A phenomenal display of young talent from the budding scientists and engineers of the future generation, at the Technical Poster Making Competition.
A great match put up by the boys in the Basketball finals of this year. Congratulations to the winning team, well played! 'Artistry', the art competition that was conducted had left the judges and the viewers spellbound. Congratulations to everyone who has brought their wonderful colors into the spotlight and have given us a beautiful visual treat.
We also had our investiture ceremony on the day, where the student council was officially pinned badges and was given responsibilities.
