The script for Jacques Henry Kallis retirement could not have been better as he ended his career as the third highest run getter, took his 200th catch and scored his 45th test century. In the second test against India, the South African all rounder announced his retirement from his 18 year career in test cricket. He played 166 test matches scored 13,298 runs at an average of 55.37 and took 292 wickets as well. He was the perfect example of an all-rounder, a legend whose is truly irreplaceable. In his final test match he scored a century which helped his team to reach a comfortable position, eventually leading to victory. He played many crucial knocks and even took important wickets to win the game for his team. Words are not enough describe his ability. Only one thing can be said now;”we salute you Kallis” .
