2nd year students associated with the Objective C Trishul programme have buckled down to program their own apps! They are all set to give their presentations to the directors of the college this month end. The top 3 projects are to be awarded and selected to participate in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) programme.

The objective C programme started on 14th July this year, is taken up by Mr.Umesh Gogte, a senior lecturer of the college. “The language is being taught to the students, first, to introduce them to the objective- oriented programming and app-development and then, improvise their ability to code”,he says.

The class started with around 60 students from different branches and has now reached its end. The students are now really excited to write codes to their first iPhone app.

The motto behind Trishul programme is to fill the gap between 0educational life and life after education of students, Oh yes, life after recruitments is what I am talking about. Well this motto is attracting many coding minds of the college to work together. Just imagine a group of beautiful minds throwing innovative ideas at each other, planning to go BIG with their ‘SOON TO BE BIG’ ideas of code.

There are eleven projects coming up and about 25 programmers are pushing themselves to success. So the finale for the Trishul programme is going to be on Monday, the 29th this month. It is to look forward to what will happen next! Keep following for updates.
