Dear Readers,
October’s that one friend we don’t spend as much time with but is always there to listen to whatever it is we have to say. Unlike the rest of the rainy months, it began with clouds floating in, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour and celebratory spirits. This edition is bringing in seven new writers who are joining us at an exciting time of the year, as this month marks the tenth anniversary of KMIT. Ambica, Bharath, Abhay, Sravya, Akshay, Anunay and Saba, welcome to the team!

In this edition, we present to you some of the best articles we came across during “Pen it”, a literary event we conducted to fish out some of the best writers our college has to offer. Along with that, we also have articles written by our team.

We have Akhil predicting what happens to Jon and Dany in season 8 of Game of Thrones. Meeta, on the other hand, wrote about how one doesn’t have to wield a sword or wear a cape to be a superhero in her article.

Check out Around the spotlight in which Sruthi and Lasya present to you the people who worked hard to bring KMIT the glory and greatness it has today.

Read Ashketh’s Police officers in schools to learn about how sexual assault has made its way into schools and what we can do to prevent it.

Up for a short story? Read Hashmitha’s article Time warp.

Read Mohak’s human library  in which he talks about his unique experience at a human library event held at Lamakaan.

Anmol wrote about his experience at  MR.&MS. Public Speaker conducted by JCI Hyderabad Trenz . Do check it out.

Read Shreyas’ take on the power of words and how much they influence us here.

And last but not the least, we have nimisha writing on why we need to disconnect to connect.

Hope you find this edition a great read.

Thanks!
