The most awaited event at KMIT has come to pass..
It’s that time of the year again where you dust off your dandiya sticks and partake in some frivolous merry making with all co-KMITians…

And this year we have a host of activities to entertain us…
We have got an essay writing competition that is being held to increase community spirits …
Four lucky winners will get free passes to Dandiya Night (held on 27th September,2014)…
So send your essays to kmitemagazine@gmail.com

So write to impress before you dress to impress!
(Literally, because we have prizes reserved for the best dressed at this event! )

We have the Bathukamma festival that will be conducted in the earlier part of the event…
It sure will be extremely exciting as it will be the first Bathukamma flower festival held in our college after the Telangana state formation.

Then the dandiya night starts with full furore…
We have a live punjabi dhol which will definitely be a blast.
Is there anything better than dancing to deafening music with your closest friends under a starry sky…
But I digress..

Then in the later half of the evening the DJ will come in to provide us with some invigorating ,awesome beats that will make your tired feet sway to the music…
All in all, definitely not a night to miss…
A wonderful start to the festive Navaratri, in reverence to Maa Durga.
Please make sure that you get your passes from the examination hall when they are available and keep an eye on our fb page for more updates about this event.
Here is the video of last years celebrations.
This only sets the precedent of how excited we should get about the one coming up…. 😀
