Computer hacking is the most popular form of hacking nowadays, especially in the field of computer security, but hacking exists in many other forms, such as phone hacking, brain hacking, etc. and it’s not limited to either of them.Hacking is the practice of modifying the features of a system, in order to accomplish a goal outside of the creator’s original purpose. In India there is an intake of 77,000 ethical hackers in various sectors. According to many analysts the growth is here, in this country. Hacking might not seem as a problem until and unless one encounters a situation. Many MNCs recruit security analysts. It’s becoming more of a necessity to be well-versed with ethical hacking in order to stand out from the usual crowd.  Hence, I propose the plan to initiate a hacking club for KMIT!

Hacking is not a part of the curriculum but having an insight on it makes us noteworthy and it can be achieved through collaborative learning. The idea of learning hacking through collaborative method was presented by me at the IUCEE-SPEED workshop.

The best and the most important approach includes the inception of a hacking club at a college level. This club would stand as a learning place, supporting many who would find opportunities through it. The main propaganda of this club is learning through knowledge sharing where everyone is a teacher and a student. Any person passionate about hacking can be a part of this club, it would provide him/her with a platform where that passion is no longer a dream but a reality. There will be  competitive arenas to parade our knowledge. So, it would be a fun filled learning. I request everybody who’s interested to come forward so that we can discuss how to go about this. The learning will not be restricted within the four walls of a closed room but will be through out the campus with fun filled activities.
